Eskom has embarked on the Risk Based Inspection programme for its fleet of Power Stations. We have been intimately involved in the development of the implementation project, defining the process requirements and assuring the development, implementation and certification to the European RIMAP Standard. Furthermore we have been involved with the deferment studies for Unit Outages to enable the practical implementation of RBI principles during the interim phase until full certification is achieved for all Power Stations.
